class matplotlib.animation.FFMpegFileWriter(*args, **kwargs)[source]

File-based ffmpeg writer.

Frames are written to temporary files on disk and then stitched together at the end.

Attributes

frame_format

A tuple (width, height) in pixels of a movie frame.
