Plot horizontal bars.

A collection of horizontal bars spanning yrange with a sequence of xranges.

Required arguments:

Argument Description
xranges sequence of (xmin, xwidth)
yrange sequence of (ymin, ywidth)

kwargs are matplotlib.collections.BrokenBarHCollection properties:

Property Description

these can either be a single argument, i.e.,:

facecolors = 'black'

or a sequence of arguments for the various bars, i.e.,:

facecolors = ('black', 'red', 'green')

Note

In addition to the above described arguments, this function can take a data keyword argument. If such a data argument is given, the following arguments are replaced by data[<arg>]:

  • All positional and all keyword arguments.
